Quality and control
Control defined by the drawing and by the customer's criteria. Each order is controlled from the approved technical file and the acceptance criteria agreed before manufacturing. This page describes what the buyer defines in the order and how inspection is agreed in the proposal.
What the customer defines in the order
Control is only as precise as the specification. These points, provided together with the drawing, guide the inspection and avoid rework.
Critical tolerances
Indicate the dimensions that affect assembly or function and the acceptable tolerance for each. The others follow what is on the drawing.
Finish and color
Specify the finish of each surface: powder coating with a color reference, smooth or textured appearance, surfaces that must be free of marks, and areas to be left uncoated.
Acceptance criteria
Define what is accepted and what is rejected: dimensions to check, visual appearance, burrs, bend marks and the sampling plan you want for the batch.
Required documentation
Tell us which documents must accompany the delivery: batch identification, inspection record, coating report or your own template.
How inspection is agreed
What is checked, at which stage and with which record is written down before production, based on what the buyer provides.
Criteria in the order
The buyer sends the drawing with the critical dimensions, tolerances, finish and the sampling plan wanted for the batch.
Confirmation in the proposal
The technical review states which criteria are checked, at which production stage and with which record, and flags what needs clarification.
Batch documents
The proposal lists the documents that travel with the delivery. A drawing or criteria change after the proposal is reviewed and confirmed in writing before production.
Documentation that accompanies the batch
The set of documents for each delivery is defined in the order, together with the drawing and the acceptance criteria. If your process requires your own template, send it with the request.
Send the drawing with the acceptance criteria.
With drawing, material, quantity, finish and criteria defined, the technical review answers what can be manufactured, how it will be controlled and which documentation accompanies the batch.
